HOMELESS ARE HUMANS

A new bill making it illegal for SCV's homeless to live anywhere in the public eye has just been passed. This bill has been disapproved by many however, this article truly shows the worst in the average Santa Clarita citizen. With borderline hate speech and just plain discriminatory rhetoric, the Signal makes a justification for this new bill.

HOW WE TREAT OUR HOMELESS

This new bill not only affects those who choose to lie down on a park bench, but also those who live in their cars. This segment from KCAL9 shows the extent to which this bill has affected the homeless in SCV.

ALL THE INFO

An article in LA Times gives a pretty good insight into the whole homeless situation. It reveals all of the facts and statistics while also talking to both sides of the political spectrum.

SKID ROW IS JUST AS BAD AS YOU THINK

The problems of the real world don't just disappear when you're homeless. The women on the streets of skid row have to deal with the same issues of non-homeless women. This article goes into a deeper insight on the issues homeless women have to face on a daily basis.

HOLLYWOOD 14

The Hollywood 14 (changed to 13 after the loss of one) is something not every SCV resident has heard of. The sickest of the sick are shown in this video. However, a man by the name of Anthony Ruffin goes around and helps these 14 people in tremendous need.

SF IS IN TROUBLE

While San Francisco maybe 6 hours away, they're facing the same problems as LA with their homeless population. The SF citizens are tired of the discrimination the city officials have implemented on the homeless population. (Sound familiar).
